We are looking for volunteers to support educational activities as teachers' assistants at elementary, middle and compulsory education schools in Yokohama City!

Activities
I work as a teacher's assistant for one year at elementary, middle and compulsory education schools in Yokohama.
We support elementary school studenｔ students' learning and club activities during classes, breaks, and after school.

Qualifications
Students who are taking teaching courses at universities, etc., aiming to become teachers and who can continue to work once or twice a week (about 3 hours at a time).
※If you already have a teacher's license, you will not be able to apply.

Registration method
To act as an assistant teacher, you need to register in advance. Please make a reservation in advance by telephone and come directly to the registration venue.
※It is not possible to apply by mail.

After filling out the registration form, you will be asked to have a brief interview.

Others
In principle, the number of times is once or twice a week, about 3 hours per time.
(The day of the week and time will depend on the consultation with the school.)
Rewards will be paid 1,000 yen per activity.
※The income tax amount will be deducted.
Insurance is covered by volunteer activity insurance.
※Registration procedures are carried out by the Board of Education.
In some cases, we may not be able to introduce our activities. Also, please note that temporary registration may be suspended depending on the application status.

Registration is done at each school education office. Please make a reservation by telephone to your local school education office in advance and come directly.
