• Childcare fees (excluding actual expenses collected) of licensed nursery schools are paid to Yokohama City, and the method is based on fund transfer. Please refer to the following "About fund transfer such as childcare fees" for registration methods of fund transfer.
• The deadline for payment of childcare fees is the last day of each month. (In the case of fund transfer, the transfer date is the 28th of each month (or the next business day if the financial institution is closed).)
• If there is no payment by the deadline, or if the fund transfer is not completed due to insufficient balance, etc., a payment notice with a reminder letter will be sent around the 20th of the following month, so please pay immediately with the payment slip . (Re-transfer is not possible.)
• If you use a childcare facility other than a licensed nursery school (certified child institution, small-scale childcare business, home-based childcare business, etc.), childcare fees will be paid directly to each facility. Childcare fees, etc. must be paid by fund transfer. When the nursery school to be admitted is decided, please apply for fund transfer using the web fund transfer reception service.

Submit an application using the web fund transfer service (Web application) or a fund transfer request form (paper form) to a financial institution

• Person who does not have fund transfer request book (paper style) at hand, please refer to Child and Youth Bureau childcare, education authorization section (telephone: 045-671-0259) or distribute at each ward office Children and Families Support Division window.
• Please note that it takes about one to two months to complete the procedure in the case of application using a fund transfer request form (paper style).
• Until the fund transfer is completed, a payment slip will be sent around the 20th of every month, so please pay with the payment slip.
