The "Konan Ward General Government Building" bus stop is a bus stop where all buses go south on the Kamakura Highway stop (about 630 flights / day) and close to Exit 1 of Konan Chuo Station on the municipal subway Konan Chuo Station.
However, since there was only one bus stop and the width of the sidewalk around the bus stop is narrow, bus users, Konan Chuo Station users, and sidewalk passersby are complicated, and the situation where it is very crowded is also an issue for the ward. was.

Based on the above background, in order to alleviate congestion around the bus stop, the ward has been promoting a plan to increase the number of sheds for bus platforms on the sidewalk in front of Konan Public Hall.
In 2023, we started construction for the expansion of the shed, and the installation of incidental facilities such as benches was completed, and the operation of the bus stop was started on December 18, 2023 (Monday).
