How to obtain information on evacuation

If you register in advance for the disaster prevention information e-mail provided by Yokohama City, you can register it.
You can receive e-mail information such as weather warnings and evacuation warning issued during typhoons and heavy rains.
In addition, similar information can be confirmed on the following portal site and TV.
If evacuation is required, check the status of the establishment and evacuate to a facility that can secure a safe route.

Precautions for Evacuation

If a evacuation warning or the like is issued in your home area or you feel danger, please evacuate on foot in principle.
However, evacuation after the weather is intensified is very dangerous. Let's try to evacuate as soon as possible.
In principle, evacuation sites does not distribute supplies such as food, so please bring necessary food and goods.
If evacuation is difficult, switch to vertical evacuation, such as spending time on the second floor of a house opposite the slope.
How to evacuate depends on the local environment and family structure.
It is important to check various hazard maps from normal times and make plans.
Please also use the My Timeline Creation Sheet when planning.

Evacuation with pets

Temporary breeding places for pets in evacuation sites during storms and floods are separate from human evacuation spaces.
Please put the cage prepared by the owner at this breeding place.
Please note that even in a covered area, depending on the situation, it may be hit by wind and rain.
In addition, please prepare equipment other than cages necessary for temporary breeding (pet food, etc.) as necessary.
