In this course, students learn about Kohoku Ward, which boasts the largest population in Yokohama, from various angles, try to take environmentally friendly initiatives and rediscover what they can do and everyone can do.

Strawberry Field at Nagasawa Farm
Vegetables that provide safe and secure vegetables and recommend local production for local consumption, and lecturers from strawberry farmers will talk passionately about their relationship with the community and initiatives that lead to regional revitalization. Nagasawa Farm Producer
Born in Kohoku Ward, raised in Kohoku Ward. Graduated from the Faculty of Agriculture, Tokyo University of Agriculture.
He retired as a lecturer at a cram school for two years, and started selling vegetables in parallel with training for local direct sales farmers for about two years. Enter and graduate from Kanagawa Agricultural Academy for the purpose of studying strawberries, and start cultivating strawberries. He is also enthusiastically active in harvesting experience events and “food and agriculture education classes” at elementary schools.
