Contents of the course
Tour of Yusuichi
In this lecture, we learned about the history of flood damage and flood control measures at the Tsurumi River Basin Center. First, watch the outline of the water master plan in the community room with a video, go up to the rooftop and listen to the explanation while overlooking the overflow embankment ( drainage gate, surrounding embankment, etc. We heard explanation of comprehensive flood control measures in the Tsurumi River basin using basin satellite photographs and 3D three-dimensional maps. After that, while walking around the Tsurumi River Multipurpose Yu Suichi, we actually observed the mechanism of Yu Suichi and broke up at Nissan Stadium.
From inhabitant of a ward activity support center
Lecturer Kobayashi is the Secretary-General of the NPO Tsurumi River Basin Networking (npoTR Net) and a specialist in flood control measures in the Tsurumi River basin. I think that I was able to learn a lot about flood control measures in the Tsurumi River basin by a very easy-to-understand explanation and actually walking the site. In addition, I think that you answered many questions and deepened your understanding. Since January was a relatively warm day, it was a fulfilling course without feeling the cold during the tour of Yusuichi.
