If your dog dies

If your dog dies, please notify the Kohoku Health and Welfare Center Health Sanitation Division Environmental Sanitation Section window (39th floor on the 3rd floor), telephone, e-mail, or notify the Yokohama City Electronic Application and Notification System. There is no charge.

From October 2022, procedures for death notification using the Yokohama City Electronic Application and Notification System (outside site) is possible.
User registration is required for use. After user registration, please file from death report (outside site) of domestic dog.
The dog's dog's license tag number is required for notification. Please have a document with your dog's license tag or dog's license tag number.

Please contact the municipal Totsuka Saijo (Tel: 045-864-7001) if you would like to take your bones or cremation individually.
Regarding the disposal of cat corpses of cats on the street、City of Yokohama, Resources and Waste Recycling Bureau Kohoku Office(Phone: 045-541-1220) is in charge.
