To put a sewer pipe in a private road
Last Updated August 7, 2024
It is a rule that you put sewer pipes in private roads at your own expense, but Yokohama City faces the private road when there is an offer from you about sewer construction in private roads and meets certain conditions. We help you put the joint sewer pipe of the house. Depending on the conditions, your construction cost burden, the management method after completion, and the documents to be submitted will differ.
Private road construction contracted sewerage work
When all landowners of the private road can submit documents (land use consent form) that can cooperate with the burial of the sewer pipe to the city, the city will perform construction of the sewer pipe and management of the pipe after construction.
Consigned construction of joint drainage facilities
When all landowners of the private road can submit documents (construction construction consent form) that can cooperate with the construction of the sewer pipe to the applicant, the city will construct the sewer pipe and manage the pipe after the construction.
