Subsidy and loan system for flushing, abolition of septic tanks

We have established a subsidy and loan system to promote the flushing of toilets and the abolition of septic tanks.
Applicable to individuals and ordinary corporations. (Loans are for individuals and small and medium-sized businesses.)
Grants (no repayment required)

Loans (36-month repayment, interest-free)

Construction that is not covered by the subsidy and loan system
- At the same time as the complete renovation of the house
- Carpenter work such as changing floors and repainting walls
Procedures
- As a general rule, apply within 3 years of becoming a processing area. (Even if you exceed 3 years, you may be able to receive grants or loans for reasons, so please consult with Public Works Office.)
- Please apply at the time of construction contract.
- Documents for application procedures are available at the designated construction shop.
Loan conditions
- Have the ability to repay the loan.
- You must have a joint guarantor. (The joint guarantor must have the guarantee ability and, in principle, must be a resident of the city. If you live in the same house, you cannot be a joint guarantor. )
Method of repayment
- Fund transfer ： Fund transfer is available at handling financial institution of Motoichi only for residents of the city.
- Delivery Notice ： Environmental Planning Bureau will send you a delivery notice with 36 spells. Please pay at the financial institution within the payment deadline every month.
Payment of the difference
Grants and loans are transferred from the city to the designated construction shop.
You will pay the difference between the total construction cost minus the subsidy and loan to the designated construction shop.
Documents to be prepared
- General Grants ： All you have to do is fill out the application form with required items.
- Special grant ： There are Type 1 Special Grants and Type 2 Special Grants, and there are various certificates. Please contact Public Works Office.
- Loans ： private seal certificate and borrowed letter of principal and joint guarantor
