Subsidy and loan system for flushing and abolition of septic tanks

We have established a subsidy and loan system to promote the flushing of toilets and the abolition of septic tanks.
Applies to individuals and ordinary corporations. (Receivables are for individuals and small and medium-sized enterprises.)

Construction work not covered by the subsidy and loan system

  • Switching work at the same time as complete renovation of the house
  • Carpenter work, such as replacing floor and repainting walls

Procedure

  • As a general rule, apply within three years after becoming a processing area. (Even if you exceed three years, you may be able to receive grants or loans for reasons, so please consult with Public Works Office.)
  • Application at the time of construction contract.
  • Application procedures can be found at the designated construction shop.

Loan terms and conditions

  • Ability to repay loans.
  • A joint guarantor must be set up. (The joint guarantor must have the guarantee ability and, in principle, be a resident of the city. In addition, person living in the same house cannot be a joint guarantor. )

Repayment method

  • Fund transfer : Fund transfer is available at financial institutions in Motoichi only for residents of the city.
  • Delivery notice : Environmental Planning Bureau will send you a letter of delivery in 36 sheets. Please pay at the financial institution within the deadline of delivery every month.

Payment of difference

Subsidies and loans are transferred from the city to the designated construction shop.
You will pay the difference between the total construction cost minus the subsidies and loans to the designated construction shop.

Documents to be prepared

  • General grant : All you have to do is fill out the application form with required items.
  • Special grant : There are two types of certificates available, so please contact Public Works Office.
  • Loans receivable : private seal Certificate and Borrowed Letter
