1st Yokohama City Suicide Countermeasures Plan (FY2019-2023)

In Yokohama-shi, we devised "Yokohama-shi suicide measures plan" (from 2019 to 2023) to promote suicide measures comprehensively and effectively. The emergency situation in which many citizens' lives are lost due to suicide continues, and we will promote measures with the aim of realizing a society where no one is driven into suicide.

The 1st Yokohama City Suicide Countermeasures Plan

In April 2016, the "Law to Partially Revise the Basic Law on Suicide Countermeasures" was enacted, and suicide countermeasures were comprehensively and effectively as "comprehensive support for living through practical approaches at the local level". It has been stipulated that prefectures and municipalities should formulate their own suicide countermeasures plans.
In Yokohama-shi, we devise "Yokohama-shi suicide measures plan" in March, 2019 and promote suicide measures generally and effectively while planning improvement of measures based on characteristic of suicide of Motoichi.
