1st Yokohama City Suicide Countermeasures Plan (FY2019-FY2023)

In Yokohama-shi, we devised "Yokohama-shi suicide measures plan" (from 2019 to 2023) to promote suicide measures comprehensively and effectively. The emergency situation in which the lives of many citizens are lost due to suicide continues, and we will promote measures with the aim of "realizing a society where no one is driven into suicide."

The 1st Yokohama City Suicide Countermeasures Plan

In April 2016, the "Act on Partial Revision of the Suicide Countermeasures Basic Law" was enacted, and suicide countermeasures were comprehensively and effectively as "comprehensive support for living through practical approaches at the local level." It was stipulated that prefectural and municipalities also formulate each suicide countermeasure plan.
In Yokohama-shi, we devise "Yokohama-shi suicide measures plan" in March, 2019 and promote suicide measures comprehensively and effectively while planning improvement of measures based on characteristic of suicide of Motoichi .
