Herpangina information
Herpangina is an infection in which a sudden fever followed by sore throat after a 2-4 day incubation period. The pharyngeal mucosa turns red, with 1 to 2 mm of blisters and ulcers appear in the back of the throat. It usually heals in about a week. Hand washing is important for prevention.
