Introduction of Stroke and Neuropathy Division
Neuroscience Internal medicine and Neurosurgery provide medical treatment mainly for brain, spinal cord, peripheral nerves and muscle diseases. By eliminating the boundaries of internal medicine and surgery, it is possible to analyze medical conditions from multiple perspectives and select the appropriate treatment method.
Stroke Treatment
Our hospital was certified as a primary stroke center (PSC) by the Japan Stroke Society, but in 2022 it was certified as a core PSC facility in the region (PSC core facility). In the future, we will continue to work as a center for stroke, which is the core of the region. Acceptance of stroke patients 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, as well as the implementation of t-PA, a system of multiple stroke specialists enables blood clots recovery therapy.
Accepted patients have a system in place to make an accurate diagnosis using MRI, etc., and to start appropriate treatment immediately. There are 12 stroke care units specializing in hospital treatment for acute stroke, and we provide highly specialized team medical care, including nursing and rehabilitation.
In addition to t-PA intravenous administration, local line-soluble therapy of thrombotic, mechanical thrombotic recovery therapy with devices, opharyngeal hemorrhage removal for cerebral hemorrhage, perennial hemorrhage (cerebral aneurysm) and all advanced specialized medical treatments such as coil embolization can be performed in our department. In terms of the prevention of stroke, not only medical treatment, but also stent placement in the carotid artery, endom peeling, and rehabilitation of blood circulation to the incranial artery.
Treatment of Neuro incurable disease
Diseases that require immediate hospitalization, such as encephalitis and meningitis, diseases that tend to cause poor prognosis due to delays in treatment such as severe muscle aspharmacia, Guillain-Barre syndrome, and multiple sclerosis, so-called functional diseases such as convulsions, dizziness, and headaches We also accept outpatients and emergency services.
In addition, it also supports degenerative diseases including neuroincurable disease. Degenerative diseases such as Parkinson's disease, spinal cord cerebellar degeneration, and amyotrophic lateral sclerosis may require special tests using a variety of medical devices to make accurate diagnosis. In addition, it is necessary to adjust medications, professional rehabilitation, and home support according to changes in medical conditions. As a base for degenerative diseases and neuroincurable disease in these regions, we also accept sub-acute patients using community-based comprehensive care wards.
