Future population estimation by area of daily living

Based on the population in FY2018 (population based on the description of the Basic Resident Register as of March 31, 2019), estimates were made for each year up to FY2025 (FY7).

The cohort factor method estimates the future population by assuming future values for each cohort (group born in the same year or the same period) for births, deaths, transfers, and out-migration, which are the factors of population increase or decrease.
