In Yokohama City, we introduce instructors for training on eliminating discrimination against persons with disabilities. Background

In April 2016, the Disability Discrimination Elimination Act (Act on the Promotion of Elimination of Discrimination Due to Disability) started.
This law prohibits businesses and administrative organizations from "unfair discriminatory treatment" on the grounds of disability, and stipulates that "reasonable accommodation" be implemented.
Businesses are obliged to make efforts to provide reasonable accommodation, but in providing appropriate accommodation to persons with disabilities, it is necessary for each and every employee to deepen their understanding of disabilities. It is considered necessary. For this reason, we have started such a training instructor introduction system so that each business operator can actively engage in employee training.
