The provision of reasonable accommodation by private business operators is a legal obligation.
~ Let's talk about each other~~
Last Updated March 7, 2024
The Act on the Elimination of Discrimination against Persons with Disabilities, which was revised and promulgated in June 2021, will be enforced from April 1, 2024, and the provision of reasonable accommodation by businesses will be a "legal obligation" (administrative organizations are also legal obligations under the current law).
[What is the provision of reasonable accommodation?]
Care should be taken as much as possible so that stores, facilities, services, etc. can be used as well as people without disabilities.
In order to provide reasonable accommodation, it is important to be close to the other party and try to understand what you are having trouble with.
Talk to the needs of people with disabilities, explain why if it is difficult to respond, and think about alternatives together.
