What kind of facility is a welfare and health activity base?
The welfare and health activity base is designed for citizens' voluntary welfare activities, health activities, etc. so that all citizens can support each other on a daily basis and realize a community where they can continue living independently and safely when they are accustomed to living. We provide places for the purpose and train, consult, and support volunteers.
There is one welfare and health activity base in each ward. The facility has a group exchange room, a face-to-face reading room / editor room, a recording room, a Braille production room, and a multipurpose training room, which can be used as an activity place for local volunteer groups.
