Strengthening the local monitoring system in cooperation with private businesses
In Yokohama, related businesses such as public utilities operators, newspaper stores, and home delivery companies, who visit private homes on their daily work, contact relevant organizations if they discover something unusual in their daily work.

Currently, we are requesting cooperation from 56 businesses. Please contact Health and Social Welfare Bureau Health and Welfare Division (045-671-3428) first if there is a business operator who can cooperate. (There are certain criteria for requesting cooperation.)

2023
On November 29, 2023, Health and Social Welfare Bureau presented a letter of appreciation to a cooperating company that made a report that led to the lives of citizens during fiscal 2022.
2022
In fiscal 2021, there were nine cases in which this initiative led to human lives. A letter of appreciation was presented to express our gratitude to the cooperating companies for making this report.
※Since fiscal 2021, a certificate of appreciation ceremony has been held based on the results of the previous fiscal year, but this year we have canceled the certificate of appreciation ceremony to prevent the spread of the new coronavirus.
