Town development under Niiyama

Last update date October 19, 2023

In the Shinyamashita area, we are promoting urban development in cooperation with local councils in order to form a cityscape where commercial, business, and recreational functions are arranged in a well-balanced manner by redeveloping landfills and surrounding areas.
With the improvement of transportation infrastructure such as National Route 357 Oguro and Honmoku and the enhancement of transportation infrastructure such as the Minato Mirai 21 Line, the convenience has been further improved, and the location facing calm waters and the superiority of the Shinyamashita area are increasing.
In the commercial and business zone, a new port hospital has been constructed as a medical base that plays a central role in the region, and the location of commercial facilities due to land use conversion has begun, and it has begun to make a major move toward new urban development.

Town development under Niiyama

A city where you can feel the port

  • We aim to create a spacious cityscape with the uniqueness of "Minato Town".
  • It creates a view of the sea and a boat.
  • We will promote land use where water can be felt.

A town where you can feel the history

  • We will develop designs that take advantage of the local characteristics that have played a part in the history of Yokohama Port, such as storage yards and boat transportation.
  • It inherits the wood culture and creates an atmosphere.

A town that takes advantage of location characteristics

  • We will introduce commercial, business, and recreation facilities that take advantage of the location characteristics of the waterside to create bustle.
  • Adjacent to logistics bases, we will form an advanced logistics base that takes advantage of location characteristics such as the convenience of transportation access.

Humanscale city

  • By retreating the wall of the building, we aim to secure the safety and comfort of visitors and open space.
  • A plaza and promenade will be set up along the waterfront, aiming to form a pedestrian network in cooperation with the surrounding area.
