Deductions for persons with disabilities in income tax for the elderly

If the taxpayer of income tax or the taxpayer's deductible spouse or dependent relative is 65 years of age or older and is certified by the Director of Health and Welfare Center as eligible in the table below, You will be subject to disability deduction.

  3. Those who are bedridden for about 6 months or more and have difficulty in daily life such as eating and excretion.
400,000 yen will be deducted from your income.

If the spouse subject to deduction is living together Specially Disabled Persons, the spouse deduction is added, and if the dependent relative is living together Specially Disabled Persons, the dependent deduction is added.

If the taxpayer of municipal tax and prefectural tax or the spouse or dependent relative of the taxpayer is 65 years of age or older and is certified by the Director of Health and Welfare Center as applicable to the table below, It is subject to deduction for persons with disabilities of municipal tax and prefectural tax.

Reduction of water and sewerage usage fees

We reduce water rate of home having severe care recipient and basic rate equivalent of sewerage system usage fee.

Target person

Households that care for those who need nursing care 4 or 5 at home

Reduction of taxes

Water rate: Basic fee equivalent (1,659 yen per 2 months including tax)
Sewerage fee: Amount equivalent to basic amount (1,323 yen per 2 months tax included)

Reduction of oversized garbage processing fees

oversized garbage is exempt from processing fees up to four per year.
※Air conditioners, televisions, electric refrigerators, electric freezers, electric washing machines, personal computers, etc. are not collected in the city.
(Not applicable to the oversized garbage processing fee exemption)

medical expenses deduction for services such as The Long-term Care Insurance

If you pay more than 100,000 yen in a year (the sum of medical expenses for all relatives who have the same livelihood as you), you can deduct your income as a deduction for medical expenses bymedical expenses. A system that allows absentee voting at home, etc. by mail

It is for those who have been certified as needing nursing care 5. However, it is limited to those who have applied to the Ward Election Commission in advance and have received a voting certificate such as mail. In addition, as person with severe disability may correspond, please ask ward Election Administration Committee in detail.

You can vote for absentees at home, etc. by mail. In order to use this system, at the time of election, it is necessary to request a ballot from the Ward Election Commission after attaching a voting certificate such as mail at least 4 days before the election day.
Furthermore, when we correspond to any of the following, we can have one proxy registrant (person having the right to vote) who reported to ward Election Administration Committee beforehand list vote. (Substitute entry system for absentee voting by mail)
