This shrine is adjacent to Okamura Park. It is said that Okamura Tenman-gu Shrine began when the spirit of Kitano Tenmangu Shrine in Kyoto was celebrated by the vassal of Yoritomo Minamoto. In the precincts, there are monuments of needle mounds and brush mounds, and statues of stone stroked cows that are said to be beneficial if stroking.
