"Summer Vacation Children's Eco Challenge" will be held jointly with Furukawa Battery Co., Ltd.! (Participation fee is free)
Event Overview
Classes last year
In anticipation of the GREEN x EXPO 2027, we will hold an eco-classroom for children, "Summer Vacation Children's Eco Challenge" for children, co-hosted with Furukawa Battery Co., Ltd., a company in the city, in order to raise awareness of decarbonization and global warming countermeasures. It will be held.
In addition to the importance of electricity and renewable energy, you can enjoy learning about the mechanism of power generation and power storage through eco-car construction, and it is also useful for free research during summer vacation. We look forward to your participation!

Number of eligible persons and number of applicants
・Elementary school students living and studying in Hodogaya Ward (4th to 6th grade priority)
・About 30 people each day (first come, first served)

We start application by Yokohama-shi electronic application, report service from 9:00 on Tuesday, June 25, 2024.

・Only those who contact us that "can participate" can attend the course.
・If a heavy rain warning, flood warning, or storm warning is issued on the day of the classroom, it will be canceled. When we cancel, we announce on ward office homepage by 11:00 am on the day.
・If you are not feeling well on the day of the classroom, please refrain from participating.
・Please note that photos taken on the day of the classroom may be used in various public relations media (homepage, flyer, SNS, etc.).
・Please note that on the day of the classroom, press coverage may be conducted.
・The personal information you receive will not be used for any purpose other than this event.
