For application
- Applications at the Hodogaya Ward Office are for Hodogaya residents. (If you live outside of Hodogaya Ward, please apply at the ward office or local government.)
- Please visit the desired childcare facilities and businesses in advance and check if you can go to kindergarten.
- The admission date is the first day of the month you wish to enter. As a general rule, the date of entry cannot be delayed.
- For entrances in January, February and March 2025, usage adjustment may not be performed even if there is space due to the use adjustment of the entrance in April 2025 first. If you wish to continue admission after April, you will also need to apply for admission in April 2025 separately.
- If the relocation application is established, the current garden will be closed even if you decline. Therefore, if you do not wish to relocate, be sure to withdraw your application.
- Application is made by mail in principle. However, those who fall under the following do not accept mail, so please contact the ward office by phone first.

Application method
Application deadline
It will be the 10th of the previous month of the desired entrance month (if it falls on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays, the previous open agency date).
- It must arrive by the deadline (Please note that postmark is not valid on the day).
- The mailing envelope may be made private envelopes. As we do not tell that we received acceptance from ward office, please consider method such as simple registered mail if you are worried.
- Documents received after the deadline will be eligible for the month following the desired entrance month.
- The order of application and the results waiting for entrance are not related to usage adjustment.
- We do not handle childcare center entrance-related duties on Saturday open agency day.

Regarding admission
- Selection will be made at the end of the month before the desired entrance month, and those who can enter will be contacted by phone.
- When the use of nursery schools is decided, we send "facility, business use adjustment result letter of advice".
- When the use is not decided, we send "facility, business use adjustment result (pending) letter of advice".
- We issue "facility, business use adjustment result (pending) letter of advice" only at the time of the first use adjustment after receiving the application and when we add hope garden. After that, the pending state will continue and will be subject to monthly usage adjustments.
- Separate application is required for usage adjustment after April 2025.
- If you do not wish to enter due to a pending state, please withdraw your application.
