What is evacuation shelter?
When an earthquake with a seismic intensity of 5 or more occurs in Yokohama, a designated municipal elementary and junior high school (in Hodogaya Ward: 27 locations) will be opened as evacuation shelter. evacuation shelter is a place where people who have difficulty living at home, such as being destroyed or may collapse due to the earthquake, can live for a certain period of time. In addition to its role as an evacuation center, it also plays a role as a base for receiving and transmitting information and collecting and distributing supplies to evacuees (including home evacuees).

About training in evacuation shelter
In the event of a disaster, it is essential to help many people, so we ask that a wide range of residents to participate in the training and improve local disaster prevention capabilities. In addition, for base equipment such as generators used in the event of a disaster, confirmation of usage and storage methods are checked, and stockpiles will be updated again this year, so please manage the quantity and check for expired items. Please.
