Opinion exchange meeting with citizens about "future image of Uchiko district" and "redevelopment of Yamashita-Futo" (recruitment was finished)

Yokohama City is recruiting opinions from citizens and others for the development of a new business plan for Yamashita-Futo redevelopment. As part of that, we will go to the area and hold an opinion exchange meeting with citizens in the form of a workshop. The results of the workshop will be taken as citizens' opinions and will be used for discussions at committees consisting of representatives and experts of local organizations to be established in the future.

Participation is free (transportation expenses, etc. are paid by yourself), advance application is required. Please fill in the number of times you wish to participate in until the fourth request. In the case of a large number of applications, a lottery will be given priority to those who live (working, attending school) in the relevant ward. Regarding the lottery, we would like to receive opinions from people of a wide range of ages, so we will consider the balance of the age structure. We will inform all applicants of whether or not to participate.

Matters to be noted

・Depending on the infection status of the new coronavirus, the event may be postponed or canceled.
・At the venue, measures to prevent infection will be implemented, such as avoiding the 3 C dense and ventilation. Participants are requested to take basic infection prevention measures, such as wearing a mask. Participation may be refused if you do not cooperate because group work is the main focus.
・The situation on the day of the workshop will be recorded and posted on the Yokohama City website.
・This event will be held to proceed with studies on the formulation of a new business plan that does not rely on IR (*) including casinos.
