Opinion exchange meeting with citizens about "future image of Uchiko district" and "redevelopment of Yamashita-Futo" (recruitment has been closed)

Yokohama City is soliciting opinions from citizens and others to formulate a new business plan for redevelopment of Yamashita-Futo. As part of this, we will go to the area and hold an exchange meeting with citizens etc. in a workshop format. The results of the workshop will be accepted as citizen opinions and will be used for examination by a committee composed of representatives and experts of local organizations to be established in the future.

Those who live, work, or attend school in the city

Number of applicants

50 people/times
Participation is free (transportation expenses are paid by yourself) and advance application is required. Please fill in the number of times you wish to participate up to the fourth request. In the case of a large number of applications, the lottery will be given priority to those who live (working, attending school) in the relevant ward. Regarding the lottery, we would like to receive opinions from people of a wide range of age groups, so we will consider the balance of the age structure. All applicants will be informed of whether or not to participate.

（２） Group work (approximately 150 minutes) Review and summarize the following:
　　・About image of future image of Uchiko district
　　・About the theme of future town development in Yamashita-Futo
　　・About image of introduction facility
（３） Presentation (about 30 minutes)

Notes

・There is a possibility that the event will be postponed or canceled depending on the infection status of the new coronavirus.
・At the venue, measures to prevent infection will be implemented, such as avoiding three crows and ventilating. We ask all participants to take basic infection prevention measures such as wearing a mask. Participation may be refused if you do not cooperate because group work is the center.
・The situation on the day of the workshop will be recorded and will be posted on the Yokohama City website.
・This event will be held to discuss the formulation of a new business plan that does not rely on IR (*) including casinos.
