What is the Yokohama City Yamashita Wharf Development Basic Plan?

Yamashita-Futo is located in the central coastal area of Yokohama, adjacent to Kannai-District, one of Yokohama's leading tourist attractions.

In September 2014, we consulted with the "Yokohama City Yamashita Wharf Development Basic Plan Exploratory Committee" to formulate a basic plan for development, and have been examining it.
Based on the committee report on July 15, 2015, we devised the "Yokohama City Yamashita Wharf Development Basic Plan" as a city on September 14, 2015.
In the future, based on this basic plan, we will work on the formation of a new bustling base full of charm and vitality with the cooperation of citizens and port officials.
