Precautions for Use

  1. Data revisions have been made retroactively to FY2011 to improve the estimation method and reflect the results of new statistical surveys. For this reason, it is not possible to use the figures announced so far and the figures announced this time together. For figures before FY2020, please use the figures announced this time.
  2. Total city production is the total value of added value created by economic activities in the city. The economic growth rate is the year-on-year increase in total city production.
  3. "Nominal" is calculated based on the market price for each fiscal year, and "real" is calculated excluding price fluctuations. Therefore, if "nominal" has a higher economic growth rate than "real", it means that prices have risen. In addition, if there is no particular refusal on this page, it represents "nominal".
  4. Citizen income per person is the sum of the total citizen income divided by the total population (correction value) as of October 1st. This is different from the individual's annual income because it includes corporate income.
  5. In estimating civil economic calculations, data is obtained from the results of various statistical surveys and the results of the city's own survey, etc., and is performed according to the "Prefectural Economic Calculation Standard Method" created by the Cabinet Office for prefectures. . This "prefectural economic calculation standard method" is created based on the same concept as the national economic calculation system (SNA = System of National Accounts), which is an international standard.
  6. Many of the results of various statistical surveys of prefectures and countries in FY2021, which are the basis for the estimation, have been published from the latter half of FY2022 to the first half of FY2023. Since the estimation results of Motoichi are working using these, they will be announced at this time.
  7. The figures of Kanagawa Prefecture and the country used on this page are as follows.
  • “Reiwa 3 (2021) Kanagawa Prefectural Economic Calculation” (announced on March 28, 2024)
  • “National Accounts for Fiscal 2021 (2015 Standards, 2008 SNA)” (announced on December 23, 2022)
