The "Yokohama Children's Future Support Guidebook" is a support system for junior and senior high school students and those who are raising children during school age who do not know that there is a support system and do not understand specific procedures. In January 2014, the government enacted the "Law Concerning the Promotion of Child Poverty Measures", and in August 2014, formulated the "General Rules on Child Poverty Measures". The “General Rules on Child Poverty Countermeasures” aims to create an environment in which children in poverty can be brought up healthy and provide educational opportunities so that the future of children is not affected by the environment in which they were born and raised. We aim to comprehensively promote child poverty countermeasures in order to equalize the situation.

In Yokohama City, based on the general rules formulated by the government, we will protect the growth and growth of children who will lead the future of Yokohama, create disparities in the childcare environment due to the economic situation of the home, narrow the opportunities for attending school and the options for employment.
