What is the third-party evaluation of welfare services?
A fair and neutral third-party organization other than the parties (users and businesses) evaluate the quality of services provided by the business operator from a professional and objective standpoint. Unlike administrative audits, rather than confirming that the minimum standards are met, they have a role to guide each business operator to provide better services by widely publishing the evaluation results.

Examination of third-party evaluation and evaluation results
・The flow up to the examination, evaluation criteria, evaluation organization, etc. can be confirmed on the website (outside site) of the Promotion Organization, which is a promotion organization for third-party evaluation of welfare services in Kanagawa Prefecture.
・The evaluation results received by each company can be searched and confirmed on the evaluation result publication page (external site) of the Promotion Organization and WAM NET (Wamnet) (external site).

(Reference) About Yokohama-shi welfare service third party evaluation promotion committee
The Yokohama City Welfare Service Third-Party Evaluation Promotion Committee (hereinafter referred to as the “Promotion Committee”) is made up of members consisting of academics in welfare and law, welfare facility workers, etc. In order to improve the quality of the service and promote appropriate service selection by users, we have been examining methods and evaluation standards for third-party evaluation of welfare services.
In addition, with system operation in prefecture area from 2019, promotion committee was abolished on March 31, 2020, when transitional measures period was over.
