Basic Concept of Yokohama City Culture and Arts Creation City Policy

In Yokohama City, in order to promote “Culture and Arts Promotion” and “Creative City Measures” in an integrated manner and to demonstrate further synergistic effects, as a basic concept of future policy development related to cultural arts creation cities, “Yokohama City Culture and Arts Basic Concept of Creative City Measures ”.
In development, we carry out citizen opinion offer (public comment) and reflect opinion that we had and refer to future reference.

We support citizens' cultural and artistic activities and aim to realize a rich civil life.

We will promote the development of the next generation, including children.

We support artists and creators and promote town development that makes use of creativity.

We will disseminate advanced cultural arts unique to Yokohama both domestically and internationally, which will lead to the creation of liveliness and the promotion of MICE.
