Planning and implementation of international cooperation projects

We plan international cooperation projects tailored to the needs of member cities and organizations, and by sharing the knowledge and technology of Yokohama and Japan, thereby contributing to the resolution of the urban problems faced by our members. In particular, until 2022, together with Yokohama City, the chair city of the Disaster Prevention Cluster, we have been conducting many projects such as regional disaster prevention, disaster prevention education, and the environment (environmental education and garbage issues) mainly in the field of disaster prevention. Since Yokohama City has been appointed chairman of the SDGs Subcommittee since 2023, we will continue to focus on activities aimed at achieving the SDGs.

Training, inspection response, and international seminars in Japan

In response to requests from members, we conduct training, inspections, and seminars in Japan as needed, and provide a wide range of programs tailored to the government, private companies and citizens.

Enhance international public relations activities

Through a variety of public relations media, including local media, we are enhancing information dissemination from Yokohama to the world. It also leads to new business development through information sharing.
