Yokohama City's base in the ASEAN and India region with the aim of further promoting business support for small and medium-sized enterprises in the city, human resource exchange, and decarbonization and environmental infrastructure-related business through public-private partnerships. The Yokohama Asian Office was opened in Bangkok, Thailand as a base for Yokohama City in Bangkok, Thailand.
The Yokohama Asian Office will promote initiatives to create employment opportunities for human resources, including attracting companies in the Asian region to Yokohama City and business support for Yokohama companies, as well as tourism promotion and creation of employment opportunities for human resources. Office location: The office will rent office space within the "Japan Desk (*)" within the Industrial Promotion Bureau of the Ministry of Industry of Thailand.

The Ministry of Industry (METI), Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) and the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) in 2009 with the aim of promoting collaboration among small and medium-sized enterprises in Japan and Thailand.
