What is the host town?
With the host town, the Tokyo 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games (hereinafter referred to as the “Competition”), we will promote human, economic and cultural exchanges with participating countries and regions, as well as revitalizing the region. It is a local government registered by the Cabinet Secretariat to promote it. Yokohama City is registered as a host town in nine countries (explanatory note).
