Yokohama High School students will visit Yokohama City Council!

With the reduction of the age of suffrage and adult age, it is urgently necessary for the younger generation, who is 18 years old to foster the ability to participate in society and politics and a sense of sovereignty.
In Yokohama City Council, students from Yokohama Municipal High School visit City Counsil, where high school students visit the Capitol and exchange of opinions with members of the city council. This is an opportunity for high school students to deepen their understanding and interest in members of parliament and parliamentary activities while communicating their opinions directly to members of the Diet.
In addition, we welcome Mr. Nana Takamatsu (Representative Director of Shoshitamura Juku Co., Ltd.) as an external lecturer, and talked about the importance of young people independently participating in society and politics.
