In Yokohama City, students are enrolled in elementary and junior high schools in the city in order to trigger garbage separation, 3Rs, and beautification of the town.
The Yokohama 3R Poster Contest is held for elementary school studenｔ students. In 2024, the “Yokohama Pra 5.3 (garbage) plan” was newly started, and the separation of plastic garbage changed for the first time in 20 years, and it was a year when awareness of the environment increased. There was an application for works on the theme of ingenuity and littering prohibition.
As a result of the judging, 55 winning works have been decided, and an exhibition of winning works and an award ceremony will be held.
