Exhibition of works　※Information update from time to time

Prize-winning works will be exhibited at city halls and public facilities in the city.
※The exhibition schedule will be announced on the Yokohama City homepage, X (YOKOHAMA GO GREEN), etc.

Yokohama City Hall 1F Exhibition Space A (10, 6-50 Honmachi, Naka-ku)

■ Period: From Friday, January 17, 2025 to Friday, January 24, 2025
■ Time: 9:00 to 17:00 (from 12:00 on the first day to 15:00 on the last day)

Purpose

Every year, we hold a poster contest for elementary school studenｔ students enrolled in elementary and junior high schools in the city to encourage sorting, 3Rs, and beautification of the town.
Prize-winning works will be exhibited for publicity and enlightenment, and will be used for posting on printed materials.

○Eligibility: Elementary and junior high schools in Yokohama, compulsory education schools and elementary and junior high schools in special needs schools.
　　　　　　elementary school studenｔ students enrolled in international schools (1st grade elementary school to 3rd grade junior high school students)

○Application period: Must arrive from Monday, August 26, 2024 to Wednesday, September 4

○How to apply: After compiling each school, bring or mail to the Resources and Waste Recycling Bureau Collection Office in the ward where the school is located.
　　　　　　(Please bring as much as possible to submit your work in good condition.)

○Standard: Eight pieces (about 27cm x about 38cm) drawing paper or Kent paper　

○Application rules (excerpts)
・All entries will be submitted to each person.
・Entries are limited to unpublished original works.
　 Works that imitate others' works (photos, illustrations, etc. on the Internet, etc.) or works created by AI cannot be submitted.
　 In addition, if it becomes clear, it will not be subject to examination.
・You must not include a specific product name (trademark name), company name, etc. in the work.　Etc.

There were 1,663 entries from 88 elementary and junior high schools in the city, of which 55 were selected as prize-winning works and 90 were selected as honorable works.

Elementary school: 1,381 points (of which 366 points in lower grades and 1,015 points in higher grades)
