For the purpose of fostering young people through work experience, Seya Ward will hold the first "Seyakko Waku Wakuwaku Work" industrial course in which members of the Yokohama Western Industrial Association (consisting of industrial companies in Seya Ward, Hodogaya Ward and Asahi Ward) learn how to make things.
Elementary school students and parents who attended last year have received comments such as "I enjoyed learning" and "I want to continue trying at home." In addition, as a partner company, it is an opportunity to get to know the local community about their business.
The program will be held as three consecutive lectures from July 27 to August 10 and from August 24 to September 10. The application period is from May 25 to June 21 (must arrive).
