In Yokohama City and Kanagawa Prefecture, based on the results of discussions with the governors of The Mayor of Yokohama and Kanagawa Prefecture at the Yokohama City Kanagawa Prefecture Coordinating Council (November 2020), we have been conducting practical discussions on the transfer of administrative and authority, such as permitting high-pressure gas production in the industrial complex area, in order to strengthen disaster prevention capabilities.
This time, Kanagawa Prefecture's "Ordinance on Special Administrative Procedures" was revised and promulgated in December 2024, and from April 1, 2025, office work and authority will be transferred from Kanagawa Prefecture to Yokohama City. We will inform you that it has been decided.
