On October 1, 2019, Midori Ward celebrated its 50th anniversary.
To celebrate this, we will create a huge piece of art that uses straw and bamboo from Midori Ward, and will showcase the history and charm of Midori Ward by displaying it on the rice fields seen from the JR Yokohama Line, which symbolizes Midori Ward's agriculture.
In addition, the work of a huge “dragon” with a height of about 5m will be produced in rice fields with the participation of residents of the city.
