In City of Yokohama, Transportation Bureau, we will participate in demonstration operation by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism and conduct demonstration operation of fully cashless buses on two routes: Bayside Blue and 109 limited express.
Through this demonstration operation, we will verify the issues and effects of fully cashless operation.
At the same time, Bayside Blue will conduct a fare collection demonstration experiment using QR code payment in collaboration with related companies.
Through this demonstration experiment, we will verify the practicality of QR code payment when riding a route bus.
