To all public elementary and junior high schools in Kohoku Ward　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　We will present an introduction message board for recommended books.

In Kohoku Ward, based on "the regulations about promotion of reading activity of Yokohama citizen", we formulated "the second Kohoku Ward book-reading activity promotion target" in October to plan promotion of reading activity according to locality of ward.
One of these goals is "promotion of reading activities according to the growth of children", and we will work on promotion of reading activities centered on school libraries.
As the importance of reading during the COVID-19 pandemic, in order to promote further reading activities for elementary and junior high school students, we will present message boards to all public elementary and junior high schools in the city that can introduce recommended books selected by teachers and elementary school studenｔ students. In addition, we will also distribute a recommended book introduction card selected by the Kohoku Library librarian. Each of the representative elementary and junior high school will hold a presentation ceremony from Director General.
