　In Yokohama City, the number of citizens with flail (*), which is between conditions requiring health and nursing care, is increasing due to self-restraint and lack of exercise due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and a decrease in interaction with people. In June 2024, a new preventive care service will be launched in the three wards of South, Sakae and Izumi Ward to prevent and improve flails and enable many elderly people to live independently.
