[Press Release] Direction / outline of the “Yokohama DX Strategy (tentative name)” strategy

　In Yokohama City, we are facing rapid changes in social life due to digitalization, such as the spread of smartphones, as well as diverse and complex challenges due to frequent natural disasters and declining birthrate and aging population. In addition, inefficient administrative services that have become apparent against the backdrop of the COVID-19 pandemic and responding to the economy and society with a view to the post-COVID-19 pandemic are difficult to solve problems in the past manner under severe financial conditions.
　DX is a power of transformation that solves various issues using digital technology and creates new value. In Motoichi, we will work toward the realization of DX through the use of private human resources and cooperation with various actors.
　We will announce the direction and outline of the "Yokohama DX Strategy (tentative name)" with the basic aim of "making the benefits of digital to all citizens and communities and creating attractive cities."
