[Press Release] "We dispatched the Yokohama Art Team to Gwangju Metropolitan City, Korea and conducted cultural and artistic exchanges!"

　Yokohama, Quanzhou City (China), and Gwangju Metropolitan City (Korea), which were both selected as the first cities in the “East Asian Cultural City” project started as a national project of Japan, China and Korea in 2014. The three cities have concluded the East Asian Cultural City Friendship and Cooperation City Agreement, and have been conducting intercity exchanges through cultural arts since 2015.
　This time, as part of the exchange, Gwangju Metropolitan City was invited to a celebration event accompanying the holding of the "2019 Kwangju World Swimming Championships" and dispatched an art group consisting of Yokohama citizens.
