Overview of the Examination Committee

Yokohama-shi information disclosure, personal information protection examination committee is affiliated organization of the mayor established based on rule of the regulations (outside site) Article 22 about disclosure of information held by Yokohama-shi.

Its functions include the executing agency (mayor, chairman, public enterprise manager, fire chief, board of education, election committee, personnel committee, audit committee, agriculture committee and fixed asset evaluation committee, city specified by rules Investigate and deliberate in response to inquiries from institutions and local independent administrative agencies established by the city) on requests for examination of disclosure decisions pertaining to requests for disclosure of information and retained personal information, and consultations on matters related to information disclosure, Article 1 (Article 1) Report the executing agency.

In addition, we will discuss important matters related to information disclosure and give opinions to the executing agency (Article 22, Paragraph 2).

For investigation and deliberation, six subcommittees (as of July 2024) have been established, from the first to fifth subcommittees and the System Operations Investigation Subcommittee (Article 23).
