In Yokohama City, citizens are required to ensure fair and appropriate business execution by reflecting specialized knowledge in a wide range of business contents, and to ensure fair and appropriate business execution by putting a third-party perspective into their duties. We have established affiliated organizations (council, examination committees, etc.) with academic experts as committee members.
An affiliated organization is an organization established based on the provisions of Article 138-4, Paragraph 3 of the Local Autonomy Law and Article 14 of the Local Public Enterprise Law, and at the request of the executive body such as the mayor, examination necessary for administrative execution. An organization whose duties are to conduct deliberations, investigations, etc.
