Yokohama City has many public spaces such as roads, parks, and harbor green spaces, and support citizens' lives.
In order to maintain and improve citizen services in each public space under severe financial conditions, in addition to appropriate maintenance and operation using conventional methods, utilization through public-private partnerships, the location environment etc. It is necessary to maximize the potential of each public space and make it an attractive space while taking into account the situation.

This guide will be provided to private businesses interested in utilizing the public space of the city, regardless of the city center or suburban areas. After showing the vision in proceeding with utilization and the approach attitude of Motoichi, we introduce model approach examples that have been realized so far, other than guidance of permission window and flow of procedure, we introduce model approach example realized so far .

Yokohama City has established a “Co-creation Front” as a point of contact for consultations and proposals on public-private partnerships, not only for the use of public spaces. As for the proposal, the Co-creation Promotion Office will act as a bridge between you and each department of the city hall, and will examine and coordinate for realization.

In order to promote the utilization of individual parks through public-private partnerships, we have established Park-PPP Yokohama [abbreviation P×P]] in Environmental Planning Bureau as a point of contact with co-creation front.

In fiscal 2017, we solicited proposals for business proposals that would enhance the attractiveness of the city's coastal area, and promoted 14 commercialization projects that were evaluated as aimed at realizing them in FY2018. ※We are not accepting applications at the moment.
