The Yokohama City Mental Handicapped Life Support Center provides support for daily life and consultation support for mentally ill persons, promotes community exchanges, etc., and promotes rehabilitation and independence and social participation of mentally ill persons. We install in 18 places in the city for the purpose of planning promotion of understanding for, and, about nine places, operate based on designated management system. (commonly known as type A)
