Co-creation

Citizen needs and local issues have become diversified and complicated, making it difficult for the government alone to respond.
We share our goals through two-way dialogue with many people and make the most of our knowledge and know-how.
I would like to create new value together on the stage of this YOKOHAMA.
The co-creation perspective combined with corporate CSR (social responsibility) and CSV (common value creation) that balances economic benefits and social value.
We will demonstrate the ideas and strengths of the people in all areas of administrative and administrative fields, and will lead to the provision of high-quality public services and the revitalization of Yokohama's regional communities.

The shape of "co-creation" that we aim for

The Co-Creation Promotion Office consists of corporations, non-profit corporations, universities, Neighborhood Association Neighborhood Associations.
We will continue dialogue with various people, including social movement groups, and create new value.

Co-creation Front
We have established the “Co-creation Front” as a point of contact for private businesses to consult and propose public-private partnerships. As for the proposal received, the Co-creation Promotion Office will serve as a bridge between you and each department of the city hall, and will examine and coordinate for realization.

Co-creation Open Forum
It is held once or twice a year with hundreds of people as a place for the private sector and government speakers to discuss social issues and find new ideas and solutions. In addition, it is also a place to widely disseminate the efforts of public-private partnerships in Yokohama City.

Co-creation Lab and Living Lab
This is a place for small-group dialogue where companies, universities, NPOs, etc. and the government arrive at the same table and share ideas while discussing equally and independently. Based on different perspectives and values, we find solutions by sharing specific issues.

Sounding survey
Regarding the utilization of public assets in Yokohama City, at the stage of business examination, we will grasp the ideas and marketability of private businesses through dialogue through open call for participants. In addition, we will grasp the setting of open recruitment conditions that are easy to enter, and promote excellent proposals by communicating local issues and considerations in advance.


As the foundation for promoting public-private partnerships

In order to promote co-creation initiatives, it is important for the private sector and the government to deepen their understanding of each other's perceptions and share the goals of co-creation.
To this end, we will formulate the "Guidelines for Co-creation Promotion" as shared by the private sector and the government, and use them as the cornerstone of public-private partnerships.
The city is aware of the government's mission to create new value that will lead to improvement of citizen satisfaction.
We will operate this guideline with the recognition that we have the ultimate responsibility for providing the necessary services for citizens.
