What is the vacant store opening subsidy business?
For those who meet the necessary conditions at vacant stores in the shopping street in the city and open a business, we will assist some of the expenses required for opening a business. (It will be within the budget.)
In addition, we carry out management consultation to person who opened business using this subsidy.

- There are conditions for granting subsidies. When the candidate for the property has been decided and the opening time has become embodied, please be sure to consult early in advance.
- If you no longer meet the conditions of grant, such as abolition or relocation of the business within one year after opening, you will be required to return the subsidy.

Those who can apply
Individuals, corporations (small and medium-sized enterprises), store associations, and various organizations who meet all of the following conditions. However, among small and medium-sized enterprises, deemed large companies (*) are not eligible.
※A deemed large company is a small and medium-sized enterprise that falls under any of the following 1-3.
- One large company (other than small and medium-sized enterprises). The same shall apply hereinafter. ) Who owns or invests at least half of the total number of issued shares or total investment.
- When multiple large companies own or invest more than two-thirds of the total number of outstanding shares or total investment.
- When more than half of officers are also officers or employees of large companies.

Contents of support
Subsidized expenses: Initial expenses stipulated in the lease agreement store, excluding brokerage fees (e.g. prepaid rent, security deposit, key money, security deposits, etc.)

About application
Application deadline: Until Friday, February 28, 2025 ※Prior consultation is until Friday, February 14, 2025.
- We will consult with you before applying. If you are considering applying, please fill in the information about opening in the advance consultation form (outside site) and send it. After sending, we will adjust the pre-consultation.
- After prior consultation, it will be a formal application when all required documents is accepted. You can apply only after the lease agreement is concluded and two weeks before the scheduled opening date. Please note that you will not be able to apply after the deadline.
※If you meet the requirements for application and it is difficult to apply before the deadline due to lease contracts, etc., please contact us.

Performance Report
Please submit a performance report within 30 days after opening or by the end date of the relevant fiscal year (Monday, March 31, 2025), whichever comes first.

Management Counseling
About management consultation
Specialists (small and medium-sized business consultants, etc.) will be dispatched to those who have opened a business using this subsidy to carry out management consultation.
It can be used up to twice in one year after the grant amount is determined. In addition, it is essential to conduct a management consultation once within six months after the grant amount is determined.

How to apply
