Special notification of outdoor advertising business

The special notification is a system in which a registered outdoor advertising business by the Governor of Kanagawa Prefecture is deemed to have been registered by The Mayor of Yokohama.
If you have registered for the outdoor advertising business by the Governor of Kanagawa Prefecture, if you run an outdoor advertising business in Yokohama City, you can also operate in Yokohama City by notifying Yokohama City in the prescribed format.
Please note that a copy of the application documents submitted to Kanagawa Prefecture is required, so be sure to make a copy before submitting to Kanagawa Prefecture.
As notification to Yokohama-shi is valid only for business in Yokohama-shi, person operating in area of Kawasaki-shi, Sagamihara-shi, Yokosuka-shi needs report to each city.
In addition, unlike registration, there is no "fee" for special notification.
In addition, when there is change in report matter or when we go out of business, report not only to Kanagawa but also to each city is necessary.

In addition, for each contract for advertising materials, etc., a book describing the following items must be provided. Books should be closed on the last day of the fiscal year and kept for the next 5 years.

• Name, type and quantity of advertising materials
• Date of display or installation of advertising materials
• Contract amount

If you violate the Outdoor Advertising Ordinance based on the Outdoor Advertising Act (including the Outdoor Advertising Ordinance established by local governments other than Yokohama City), you may be subject to business suspension or fines.

If a special outdoor advertising company falls under any of the following reasons, it may order business suspension within six months.

• When it falls under the grounds for refusal of registration.
• When we violated outdoor advertising matter regulations based on the law or disposal based on these regulations.

There are the following penalties for special notification.

• Imprisonment of up to one year or a fine of up to 500,000 yen
  ・　Those who violated the order to suspend business
• Fine of up to 300,000 yen
  ・　Those who did not appoint a business chief
• Fine of up to 200,000 yen
  ・　Those who do not report to report collection or who have made false reports
  ・　Those who have refused or hindered on-site inspection
• Fine of 50,000 yen or less
  ・　Those who have neglected notification, notification of changes in notification items, business closure, etc.
  ・　Those who do not raise a sign indicating that they are a special outdoor advertising business notification company
  ・　Those who do not have books or make false entries
