Special notification of outdoor advertising business

The exceptional notification is a system in which those who have registered for outdoor advertising by the governor of Kanagawa Prefecture are deemed to have registered by The Mayor of Yokohama.
Person who registered outdoor advertising business by Kanagawa prefectural governor can operate outdoor advertising business in Yokohama-shi by reporting to Yokohama-shi by predetermined style when we run outdoor advertising business in Yokohama-shi.
In addition, a copy of the application documents submitted to Kanagawa Prefecture is required, so be sure to make a copy before submitting to Kanagawa Prefecture.
As report to Yokohama-shi is valid only for business in Yokohama-shi, person who operates in area of Kawasaki-shi, Sagamihara-shi, Yokosuka-shi needs report to each city.
Unlike registration, there is no "fee" for special notification.
In addition, when there is change in report matter or when it goes out of business, report to each city as well as Kanagawa.

• The qualifications of the Chief Operating Officer are as follows.

In addition, for each contract for advertising materials, etc., a book containing the following items must be provided. The books should be closed on the last day of the fiscal year and then stored for 5 years.

If you violate the Outdoor Advertising Ordinance based on the Outdoor Advertising Law (including the Outdoor Advertising Ordinance established by local governments other than Yokohama City), you may be punished with business suspensions, fines, etc.

If a special outdoor advertising company falls under any of the following reasons, it may order a business suspension within six months.

• When it falls under the grounds for refusal to register.
• When we violated the Outdoor Advertising Ordinance based on the law or the disposal based on these ordinances.

The following penalties are available for special notification.

• Imprisonment of up to one year or a fine of 500,000 yen or less
  ・　Those who violated an order to suspend business
• Fines of 300,000 yen or less
  ・　Those who did not appoint a Chief Operating Officer
• Fines of 200,000 yen or less
  ・　Those who do not report on the collection of reports or those who made false reports
  ・　Those who refused or obstructed on-site inspection
• A fine of 50,000 yen or less
  ・　Person who failed to report exceptional report, report of change of report matter, business closure, etc.
  ・　Person who does not raise sign indicating that it is exceptional outdoor advertising business report company
  ・　Those who do not have books or have made false statements
